Wine Sherpa app for iPhone and iPad

Imagine having your own personal wine shopper in your back pocket. Your Wine Sherpa (an actual person!) makes recommendations based on your unique tastes, uses your reviews to refine their suggestions, answers your questions through the free text messenger, and curates orders for delivery or pickup. Your Sherpa will help keep wine as a source of excitement and adventure, rather than a source of frustration and intimidation.

Preferences, Suggestions and Interests:
A quick and simple onboarding process will help your sherpa learn your preferences and develop a list of wine suggestions. Your sherpa will help maintain the list of suggested wines for you. New wines to try, wines that fit upcoming needs, or just some wines that he thinks you should know about. You can build a shopping cart from this list, or save items for later in your Interests.

Messaging with your Sherpa:
Wine Sherpa’s goal is to create a highly personalized wine connection between you and your sherpa. A free text messaging window allows you to chat with your Sherpa. Tell him what kind of wine youre looking for. Ask her questions about the wines you have, or perhaps which one you should drink with dinner that night (she can see whats in you Cellar). This feature will also be used to let you know when your order is ready/delivered and other such important info.

Placing Orders:
You can build a cart from your Suggestions and Interests. Your sherpa can also add to your cart and even complete an order for you. Your order can be delivered to your home or available for pickup in a local store.

Your Cellar:
The app will remember everything you buy and you can review and rate each of the wines that you drink - on your own scale of how much YOU liked it - and we will be able to see that feedback. Your sherpa will make more suggestions for you based on this feedback.
